In fact, there can be no other entity that is particularly responsible for more carbon emissions to the atmosphere than cattle. If the call of the times is to protect the Earth from the destructive effects of global warming, then there can be no other most potent thing one person can possibly do to substantially help the environment than to live a healthy vegetarian lifestyle.
