How to get abs faster than anyone else? That is the question that we all ask. In our society, we want quick results. There is no time to waste and achieving great abs before anyone else will give us that edge over other people. However, there are so many fad diets, exercises machines and programs that promise you quick results, but those don’t work. To achieve ripped abs faster than anyone else, you need to increase your metabolism, through exercise and watching your diet.

We all see ads on TV claiming fantastic results with their diets, ab machines or ab exercises, all of which do not work. The ab machines and ab exercises directly train muscles other than the abs, while others offer a diet that will magically reduce your belly and give you ripped abs.

In order to increase our metabolism through exercise, we must increase our lean body mass. To increase our lean body mass, resistance exercises will help our body burn fat. The resistance training will help our body to burn calories and burn excess body fat.

Increasing our lean body mass through resistance training helps increase our overall metabolism. The increased metabolic activity of the muscles increases the fat burning capacity of the body to supply energy to the muscles.

Anaerobic interval training is also effective at burning fat and increasing our body’s metabolic processes. The increased demands of the interval activity forces the body to require more energy, which causes the body to burn more calories and break down excess body fat to be used as fuel for the muscles. It has been shown, that the body continues to burn fat for several hours after the physical activity has ceased.

Monitoring what we eat is a way to balance our caloric intake and expenditure. By avoiding sugar, fatty fast food, processed food and carbonated beverages, we are better able to control our caloric intake. Also by increasing our intake of complex carbohydrates and lean protein, we can help our body burn the calories with grater efficiency and help our body utilize excess body fat as an energy source.

Eating several small meals (5-6) per day will help to keep our energy levels stable and keep our blood sugar from fluctuating up or down too much. We can also help fuel our physical activity and optimize our exercise sessions to help burn excess body fat.

If we want to get our abs to look great, we must consider the various factors that affect our metabolism. Increasing our metabolism with regular exercise activity, which incorporates resistance training and interval training and healthy eating habits are the keys to getting abs that look great.
