Le Spirit De Feminine

Drugs and teenagers, it a problem that you may face if you have a teen. There are signs that you need to watch for, and make sure you don’t ignore the problem. Before your child gets to the age of where they may experiment with drugs, have many talks with them too.

You may even know these people yourself; you know the ones that use drugs themselves. They are parents, but still smoke pot or use other illegal drugs. Those kids they are raising are not stupid; they will know what their parents are up too. And when they see parents doing it that means it has to be okay for them to do it.

But talking to your teen and watching them may help you stop the problem before it leads to serious problems. Even the teen that smokes is using a drug, and should be talked to and made to stop. Some parents may hope if they let their teen continue to smoke, they may not move onto other drugs.

However, since that isn’t a positive thing, you should just help them get off the cigarettes too. Watch your prescriptions if you have any at home, to make sure that the pills aren’t going sooner than they should. They may take these to school and sell them, even watch their friends when they are over.

I’m saying this because a friend of my daughter’s did this one time. It wasn’t even something that was probably going to give her a buzz, but it was missing. The next day she had the bottle at school with her, and believe me that friend never came over again.

Teens that use drugs may hang out in their room a lot, or start to perform worse in school. But even a depressed teen may turn to drug use to get rid of pain. Getting your teen before it gets to be such a bad problem is a big help.

Don’t let them hang out with kids that you know do drugs. Talk to them about drug use and drinking as often as you can, without being a pain. Explain to them that it’s only for their good that you don’t want them to use drugs or drink.

Many parents out there may dabble in drug use, but if they keep it from their kids, they feel it’s ok. You know your teens are a lot smarter than you give them credit for, and they probably know you do the drugs. What will you do if your kid confronts you with something you don’t want them to do?
