Le Spirit De Feminine

Many brides find themselves pressured into crash diets, or rushing into a diet and exercise routine to fast in order to fit into that perfect wedding dress. It is important that the method used is healthy in order to achieve the desired results and really look ar your best in your great day.

Everyone from the bride to the guests seems to want to drop at least a few pounds before the big day. Even though there are many people who will be looking forward to looking their best, the bride seems to be the person who stresses the most about the way she will look on her special day.

Perhaps it is because she will be in the spotlight and due to the fact that society pressures us to want to be slim and don the smallest wedding dress possible. It is certainly not healthy or safe for brides to go to extremes in any way.

Before the wedding, many brides will starve themselves. Many woman were admitted in hospital for organ failure oir dehydration in thier efforts in reducing some wieght.

Some brides will go overboard with training and diets in order to lose weight. While doing workout is a great thing to do, you have to be sure that it is done within moderation. Anything you do should be done in moderation; this is especially true of diet and exercise.

These methods, over training and starvation, will appear as though they are working at first but will ultimately fail. Once the bride to be finally eats a regular meal she will most likely put on several pounds. This is because the body decides to hold on to any nutrients it can possibly get when the person finally eats.

If the bride does not nourish herself with a full meal before the big day, she runs the risk of ending up in the hospital. Put a damper on the entire event whether it is for a few days or for several weeks.

The best thing to do when wanting to drop a few pounds is to make sure that a proper diet and exercise routine is followed. Brides who feel as though they cannot go about that alone should consult with a personal trainer or a dietician.

By simply eliminating some carbohydrates, you’ll find weight loss will have already begun. Fitting more water consumption into your daily regime together with a consistent exercise schedule will give you the results you’re looking for.

The key is to not wait until the very last minute to drop the weight you feel needs to go. Plan ahead and give yourself as much time as possible as this will ensure that you have plenty of time to lose the weight the healthy way.

chances are she probably has one she may not meet the qualifications for anorexia or bulimia but she could be EDNOS (eating disorder not otherwise specified) which can become much more serious and turn into anorexia or bulimia . if you have an eating disorder you dont have to be underweight everyone has to start somewhere right? if she looks like she could us a vitamin id suggest asking her how many calories daily she averaging if she hesitates to answer then shes probably going to lie to make you think shes eating a regular amount if she says 1200 or 1500 she probably actually means 500-800 , telling her parents wont help a lot of adults dont understand it your friend should prbly get therapy or you could get her to talk to you and maybe even eat out with her make sure shes eating ATLEAST 1500 a day a 13 year old girl should be eating 2000 but if your friend has an eating disorder eating more then 1500 would make her freak out and when people with eating disorders freak out then they turn to puking…..i could keep going and goin and going but im gonna stop now

Yeah you can just sit there & wish it off really hard!
or you can sh*t a few pounds off w/ e-lax.
If that doesn't work keep you end out of fast food, starbucks joints & eat heathy foods such as fruits & veggies…

Do you have a source for her comments on dieting? I didn’t see that in the article you linked to. I would love to pass that along to a few people.

First, I entirely agree with you that yo-yo dieting is very harmful. That is a really good point, and underscores how people who want to make changes do not need to diet so much as to change their diet into one that gives them the nutrients they need and the calories they need. I am not saying this is easy.

But, with regard to everyone being able to lose weight, I want to be very clear about this. All people in concentration camps get thin, so do all people put in situations where their caloric intake is controlled by someone else, who keeps it below the amount necessary to maintain their current weight.

Like I said, thermodynamics IS a law of physics.

Do I recommend weight loss for anyone? Nope–this is something that should be an individual choice, and one that I would hope was informed by legitimate health concerns, not the ridiculous body image standards of our culture. And do I think 1200 calorie per day diets are a great idea for everyone? Nope. Do I recognize that weight loss does not improve everyone’s health, and can actually be harmful? Yep. Do I recognize the difficulty of people who are poor, sedentary, or have genetic or other health issues to eat a diet that is both (1) healthy and (2) restricts calories? Absolutely. (And when I say difficulty, I realize that for many poor people, it can be virtually IMPOSSIBLE to afford or even obtain the type of food that makes healthy weight loss practicable.)

But see again, thermodynamics. Yes, peoples’ metabolisms do vary, but at the end of the day, one cannot put on weight if one is eating fewer calories than needed to sustain the body’s operaton. Period, full stop, etc.

PS–I do all KINDS of freaking unhealthy things. We all do. Some "vices" are even more unhealthy for me (i.e., smoking. Because of a blood clotting disorder in my family, my smoking or using hormonal contraceptives is WAY more dangerous than it is for the average person). And some people smoke all of their lives and never have problems. So when discussing all of these things, I want to make it VERY CLEAR that I do not think that any one person is a "better" person because they manage to make changes that they think will improve their health. That absolutely DOES NOT MEAN that another person who does not make those same changes is imperiling their health. And even if they were, that doesn’t make them a bad person. We all decide what risks we want to take in this world, the same behavior can be higher risk for some than for others, there is a lot we do not know, blah, blah.

What I meant to do here was support the OP’s choice to do something that seems to be improving her health, and to let others who are thinking about the same thing that it can be done but that it is harder than you might think.

I know I know I know.

But it’s so hard when in the past I’ve lost significant amts of weight through dieting and it feels so incredibly validating to see those numbers drop.

And I keep telling myself that slow loss is so much better than fast and that inches are more important than lbs (except when I’m lifting them).

On another note: tonite Dora and I assembled a crew of the best novice paddlers–it was pretty much the dream team of gals that I’ve been thinking about having in a boat–just to see what we could do when there weren’t so many out-of-sync/awkward paddlers. And I have to say, we were amazing. My steering was pretty smooth and we glided so nicely on that water–it felt like we were frictionless. We came in long after sunset when all we could see was the lights on the shore and it was magical out there. I can’t wait to get in a canoe with this group again and it feels truly amazing to be sitting in the rear of their boat.

Don’t make dieting any harder than it needs to be. Eat clean, exercise with HIIT, and optionally supplement organically. It’s the best way to achieve long-term success on your diet of choice.

I’ve decided to give away this new box of WuYi tea. This stuff is great for losing weight! Worked for me when nothing else did and I have an extra box left. If you are interested email. First to email gets it. There’s a whole box of the stuff here, enough for a month or two’s worth of dieting, and it’s unused and sealed still. If you’ll really use it, just email me and let me know, otherwise let someone else get it. Have a super rest of the day! Thanks for looking at my ad.

If you're not breastfeeding, you can start dieting right away. As for exercising, wait until you get the go ahead from your doctor. You don't want to risk doing anything too strenuous and damaging your incision.
