Ways To Speed Up Metabolism - You’ve Got To Take It Higher…

Your bodys natural way of handling calories is through your metabolism. Your metabolism is constantly at work. It either burns calories in the form of energy or stores calories in the form of fat.
If you dramatically reduce your caloric intake, it slows down your metabolism so that you need fewer calories. That’s why you bounce right back to your old weight (and usually beyond) as soon as you stop dieting. With a slower metabolism…the standard maintenance level you had before will now make you fat. For any weight loss program to have a chance, you must find ways to speed up metabolism…not slow it down.
The best way to avoid this slow down in your metabolism is through only losing one to two pounds per week. This will increase your ability to keep off the weight once you are off the diet. It is all about eating the right foods, so you can lose weight, but eat MORE.

When you exercise your body requires more energy, so your metabolism is set in motion to turn calories into energy and not fat. Getting and keeping your metabolism raised does not require a life completely devoted to exercising. As you build up your muscles…they will help to keep your metabolism up. So, in the end you will have to do nothing but a basic maintenance workout a couple times a week to maintain your new body.
Most diets are not effective. They count on that first few pounds everyone loses in the initial days. That makes everyone excited so they spread the word to all their friends. The diet company makes a fortune overnight then disappears. Why? Unfortunately, the weight you lost is usually just water loss that will come back immediately. But, by then the damage is done, you’ve slowed your metabolism and as soon as you start eating again, you gain it all back plus - on average - an additional 10 pounds.
Losing weight starts with ways to speed up metabolism. You have to speed it up through eating the right, healthy foods - and exercising. You want to lose weight without starving yourself. Starving yourself just leads to a slow metabolism and eventual failure.
